Hey guys!
A big apology about not blogging the 30 day nail challenge, I've come to stay with my auntie for a bit, but the wifi is really slow and barely works, so I'm not able to blog. I'm currently sat in a costa so just writing to apologise. I won't be able to blog it until I go back home, but I'll do it as soon as I get back, I'll do all the ones I've missed, and then carry on like normal.
I'm really sorry about this and hope you understand! Also I'm on my phone once again so can't edit this ( >:( )
Talk to you soon

30 Day nail challenge | Day 1

Hey everyone!
So it Monday! I am SUPER excited to start the 30 Day Nail Challenge. If you have no idea what I'm talking about , you may want to hop back to my last post which is just a bit of an explanation. Unfortunately, I'm having to write this on my phone so I can't change the layout of the post, and I have no idea how this will look, so I'm really sorry if this looks horrific. As soon as I get on to a computer, I'll change it to its usual thingy. (I've now edited it to the usual layout! :) )
Anyway, today was the first day of my challenge.

Day 1- Red Nails
At first I was thinking about doing something to do with hearts, but I thought that was a bit obvious and I didn't know where to go with it. I'd just like to say, 1. I'm not a nail genius. I wish I was, but I'm not, I'm far from it. All of these will be quite amateur, but I'm doing this purely for fun. 2. The photos are poor quality, I'm really sorry for this, but because I am blogging from my phone, my photos have to be from my phone. They're ok, just not great, but anyway, these are my red nails...

So, since its Summer, and finally starting to look like it, I did little strawberries! I know these are quite simple like the heart thing, but I think they are so cute!
What do you think? Are you joining in?

Ok, so that's day 1 of the 30 Day nail challenge, talk to you tomorrow!

Quick Update!

Hey everyone!

This is just a super quick update of some blog posts that will be coming up :).
Starting Monday, I'm going to try and blog at least once a day because....
I am doing the 30 day nail challenge!
Yes, starting Monday, I will be painting my nails everyday for a whole 30 days, and I will try and make a blog post of them every single day. Even if they're rubbish...Which they probably will be....
I will still do other things like reviews and stuff like that, it'll just mean 2 (or more!) posts in a day! Yey!
I really am going to try and blog it everyday, but sometimes life will get in the way of that, so, I apologize in advance if I do slack a bit, but I will put them all up.
Wanna join in? Do it! If you Write blog posts about it, please link it for me! I'm really in to doing my nails and stuff, and I rarely go a day without having something on my nail, so if I get 100 followers, I'm thinking of doing a give away, based on nails? (A good reason to follow, if your interested ;)  )
So I hope you enjoy these upcoming blogs as much as I'll enjoy doing them, and I really hope you join in! I'll post the list just underneath, link your blog if you do it, and follow to see a give away!
I'd just like to mention that for the first few, your not just ,meant to do a colour, your meant to use the colour to inspire a design :)
Thanks for reading!

Rainy days!

Hi everyone!
I can't believe how long I haven't blogged for! That's so bad! I'll try not to do it again!

So, if you live in England, you know how rubbish our weather is right now. I don't mind this weather, when it's Winter, and supposed to be like this, but when it's meant to be Summer?! Where's our sun?! With this grey sky, it's hard to keep cheery. But, there are ways to keep bright and smiley in this dull and dreary weather! But how? Well....

Source :
You could...

Have a pampering session!
Who doesn't love to be treated like a goddess? And in the comfort of your own home! You could have a manicure, pedicure, face mask, whatever you want! You could invite some friends and have a girls night in.

Wash away the blues!
Who doesn't love going in to soap shops (Lush anyone?) and smelling all the products? Everybody loves it, right? I'm sure you all have a few bath bombs or soap or bath oils etc. etc. Next time you have a bath or shower, use them! Let the blue days go down the plug hole!

Watch Movies, Movies, Movies!
Can't stand looking out at the rain? Close the curtains, get a hot drink, and pull the covers over you. You could spend hours trapped in your house by the rain, just think about how many films you could watch in that time! Re-discover your favourite films, you'll soon forget what's going on outside!

Make use of magazines!
Read a magazine once, find information useful, think you'll remember it, throw away the magazine, forget the information. Ever happened to you? Collect some old magazines, or get some friends to give you some, you could even go and buy some magazines (and get some great freebies!) Cut out bits you find useful, or even just pictures you like, and do something with them! You could stick them in a notebook, Put them in a binder photo, or even make a wall display! Now whenever you want to look back at the information, it'll all be in one handy place!

Right now, I have about 3 books which I haven't finished reading, so when there's a little extra time, why not just have a bit of winding down time to read?

Discover the baker in you!
Mmmm, fresh cookies or brownies, still warm from the oven, what a better way to forget the drearyness (Is that a word?) of 'Summer'. You'll be really proud that you've made something delicious, and you'll have so much fun making things! String a friend in to baking with you, and you'll have twice as much fun!
Make something!
Get crafty, and make something nice! It doesn't have to be for you, you could make something for a friend or family, spread the joy! Yey!

Have a shopping trip!
Ok, so, when it rains, people shy away from going shopping really. But think, if you shy away, so do many other people. I have no doubt you don't have an in-door shopping centre near you. All the shops are out of the rain, and you can walk freely from shop to shop under a roof. You'll have a stress free shop, as many people will stay in doors.

Get things done around your house!
Been putting off the dusting? Hoovering? Well, there's no excuse now! Catch up on your house chores and get them out of the way, then you can enjoy your rainy days guilt free!

Enjoy the sound of the rain!
This might seem quite boring, but why not turn off the TV, computer, everything, open the window, lie down and just enjoy the soothing sound of the rain on the roof/window. You'll kill so much time without even realising.
I hope this has given you a few ideas of how you can turn that dreary frown, upside down. Always look for the silver lining on them grey clouds, and try and enjoy the great British 'Summer'. I really hope you found this useful, and has given you some ideas. If you have kids, you could include them in every single one, you can also get your friends and family involved as much as you can. Enjoy your rainy days! Bye everyone!

Review | Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

Hey guys!
Today I have a review for you. In my '7 things for 7 days' post, I said that I wanted to buy something make-up wise that is a bit more expensive. I wouldn't say that what I bought was expensive really, but I'll admit that for me, my foundation was £1.99...Which would explain why it's so rubbish! I was going to get Macs Studio Fix foundation, but I'd been wanting a BB Cream for quite a while, which is why I bought...... Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream  Boots price : £7.99

The packaging for this is quite simple, but I really like it. The top colour is different on every tube depending on colour. All together there's 4 shades, Light, Medium, Dark and Universal Glow.  I have this in light, which is the palest shade they have. I think the colour range is fairly good, as the colours do blend quite well, however not the best of BB creams I've seen.
The smell to this is... well it's not great. I have to admit that the smell of a product means a lot to me. I don't buy something just because it smells nice, but you know, it's a nice bonus.
This claims to have 8 benefits:
(1) Creates a natural glow
(2) Compliments skin tone
(3) SPF30 UV protection
(4) Hydrates all day
(5) Blurs Imperfections
(6) Oil free, non-greasy
(7) Looks visibly smooth
(8) Feels fresh
I really like this product. I put it on before foundation and after moisturiser, but sometimes I don't put foundation on, as this does such a good job! BB stands for blemish balm, and was first created for soldiers to blur out their scars. This blurs blemishes so well! I can get quite a spotty T-zone, and this just covers them up! It reduces the redness, and makes them look so much smaller, if not invisible! By the time I've applied this, concealer and foundation, you'd think my skin was flawless, Yey! This works really well as covering up my under eye circles too! I also quite like the finish of this, as it gives an almost dewy finish. If you have quite oily skin, this might not be a good thing. I have such annoying skin, in some places it's normal, some patches of dry, and then some oily parts, but this leaves an even finish. It isn't drying, and leaves skin feeling nice and smooth. After applying this, I feel more awake, and it leaves my face feeling SOO smooth! Also, SPF30? Bonus! I never put screen-screen on my face on a day to day basis, unless it's really hot, so it's great, I never have to worry about whether I remembered  to put on sun cream. This is a 30 ml tube, however, you only need a little bit. I found that if you apply too much, it can feel quite cakey and greasy.
Overall, I'm enjoying this product, and will be repurchasing this once I have run out of it. If you are wanting to try out a BB Cream, I would recommend this one if you don't have oily skin, however , I think this is too dewy (Is that the right word) for more oily skin.

7 things for 7 days | How did I do?

Hey guys!
So last week, I took part in Louise's (sprinkle of glitter) interactive 7 things for 7 days (Here!), and now I'm going to do a kind of, how did I do type of post, so...
(1) Don't be afraid to spend!
So basically, this was just to invest better in my make-up. I was going to buy Mac's studio sculpt foundation, but I didn't exactly splash out in the end. I bought Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream (Review coming soon!). Which was between £6-£9, I got mine on offer in ASDA for £6 but I know it's a lot more than that. So not exactly achieved.
(2) Get a different skin care routine!
I am so glad I did this! I have noticed a MASSIVE change with my skin, and I'm so happy about it! It didn't cost me a small fortune, as I didn't get a completely new range of products, I kept some stuff, swapped other things, bought some new things, and I'm so impressed! I really recommend doing this, if, like me, you start to feel like your skin care routine isn't having an effect.
(3) Make something!
I made an iPod case actually. I'm really amazed with it. A lot of people have asked where I got it from, so me and my friend (Who made them with me, and is my brothers girlfriend, haha) are thinking of making and selling them, I'll probably do another post on that though.
(4) Get reading!
I have been SO busy this week, I haven't had chance to just sit down and relax with a book. I wish I had of done this one, maybe next time.
(5) Sort out!
Once again, time got away from me. I still have to stare them tragic outfits in the face. Sigh.
(6) Blog!
Not exactly. I actually have a lot of stuff in draft that I have written though, so I have blogged....kind of....I'll be posting them soon!
(7) Meet people!
No, not yet. I haven't even really sat down at the computer this week, so haven't exactly had a chance. It's definitely something I want to do though :)

OK so that's my update on my 7 things for 7 days. How do you think I did? Not great, I have to admit. I'll be writing another 7 things for 7 days soon, I think it's a really good idea, as it kind of motivates you to reach your goals.

Tag time! About me!

Hello Everyone!
When I follow a blog, I like the fact that I feel I know a bit about the person I'm following. I realised that my blog has no information about me, hence... the 'about me' tag! This tag is quite old now, so you probably all know it, but it's a good way to find out about me and get to know me a little more. One of my '7 things for 7 days' (Here!) was to meet new people, and this just helps some more. I know this tag is usually done on youtube, although I kind of want to do youtube videos, I'm a bit worried that people will just kind of hate them, or be rude about them....hmmmm, anyway, without further a do, the questions!

(1) Do you have a middle name?
Yes, my middle name is Ella! And if it wasn't obvious, my first name is Abbie :)
(2) What was your favourite subject in school?
Well, I'm still in education, but I would say either Art or Drama... Oooh, I quite like Catering too!
(3) What's your favourite drink?
It's quite bad, but I love things like Diet Coke, Pepsi Max, Diet Pepsi and Coke Zero ( I don't like full fat Coke or Pepsi) yet the drink that I have most is water
(4) Favourite song at the moment?
I don't really have a favourite song at the moment...or any moment actually. My favourite type is pop. Hmmm....
(5) What would you name your children?
For a girl, Ebony. I don't know why I love this name so much but yes, I just love it. For a boy, I think either Jacob or Samuel ( Short : Jake and Sam) but I'm not too sure on that. Anyway, it's gonna be a loooong time before I'm choosing a name!
(6) Do you participate in any sports?
When I was younger, I used to do a LOT of swimming, but now I just kind of do dance, and that's about it, if dance even counts? I walk my dogs?
(7) Favourite book?
I LOVE all of Sophie Kinsella's books! Seriously love them! I've read all of them like 5 times? It's hard to pick a favourite!
(8) Favourite colour?
Purple, Oh and Navy too!
(9) Favourite Animal?
Otters! I think they're adorable :')
(10) Favourite perfume?
I love Britney Spears perfume so much! Like 'Midnight Fantasy' and my favourite ' Radiance' ('Cosmic radiance' I find quite bad though) I also like 'Daisy' by Marc Jacobs
(11) Favourite Holiday?
I recently went to Egypt, that would of been amazing if I didn't keep getting asked how many Camels I was worth, and didn't get food poising -_- I really enjoyed Egypt though, but I would have to say Disney world Florida! I went in 2006, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. Ooooh how I miss it!
(12) Have you graduated High School?
No :(
(13) Have you been out of the country?
Yes! Not a lot though really, I've been to Manorca, Egypt, Paris and Florida :)
(14) Do you speak any other languages?
I know a bit of Spanish! I've done my Spanish GCSE, but won't find out my results until August
(15) Do you have any siblings?
I have a brother! He's 3 years older than me and his name is Christian (named after an actor apparently)
(16) What's your favourite store?
Prrimark! It's just so cheap and has nice clothes and stuff. I love it! (How cheap do I sound? Haha)
(17) Favourite Restaurant?
Frankie and Benny's. All the way. I love their pizza's, and their pasta's , and you know....everything...Hmmm really want a Frankie and Benny's now!
(18) Did you like school?
Well, I'm still at school, but no. There are lot's of things about school I love, like some of the teachers I have, and the subjects I have, My friends, I even quite like homework (How lame?! ) It gives me something to do. But I hate it in the morning when I wake up, and all I can do is think about 1 thing that slightly worries me and blow it up. Like if I haven't done my homework, I'll worry like mad and then nothing will happen, and I hate the whole Popular-not-popular thing. :/
(19) Favourite Youtubers?
My favourite question so far! There are so many that I love, but I'll narrow it down to 3... Firstly, Fleurdeforce! (Here!) Then, Zoella280390, who doesn't love her?! (Here!) But I LOVE Sprinkleofglitter! (Here!) I'll link their blogs too, in the same order

(21) Favourite TV show?
I have so many! I like the American Sitcom kinda thing, I really like Friends, but E4 has all my favourites on, like Rules of Engagement, How I met your mother, Big Bang Theory, and then my 3 ultimate favourites, Revenge, 2 Broke Girls, and Don't trust the Bitch in apartment 23 :D
(22) PC or Mac?
I don't really know this one, I love Mac's, so much, but PC's can be easier to use... Hmmm
(23) What phone do you have?
I have a HTC Wildfire. I don't really use it, I have an iPod touch, so I use that to talk people (iMessage) My phone hasn't had credit in so long! I still use it for internet and apps though
(24) How tall are you?
I'm 5'7. I don't know what to think of my height, I like that I'm tall, because I think tall people suit some things better, the same as smaller people suit some things better, but I like that I have quite long legs. However, it means that I look ridiculously tall when I wear heels, which I hate :/ I love wearing heels, but I try to find some with smaller heels, which aren't always as nice

 12 Personal Questions!
(1) What do you order at Starbucks?
I'm so boring, I either have Diet Coke or Hot chocolate with Caramel. I don't really get Coffee stuff usually, I will sometimes, especially at Christmas, when they do their Christmas ones. If I eat, I usually just get a Ham and Mustard Panini... How boring am I?!
(2) One thing in your closet you cannot live without?
This is really boring, but just plain black leggings, I wear them all the time! They seem to go with everything!
(3) What's one thing most people probably don't know about you?
Hmm, this is actually quite a big one because there is actually quite a lot. I'm a very open book, but I only say things if I think it's relevant to the conversation, I don't just bring stuff up about myself, and if people ask me I'll always tell them. One thing a lot of people are kind of shocked about when I tell them is my ear piercings. I only have 2, but I'm hoping to get a 3rd for my next birthday. But, I got my piercings when I was just 6 months old. A lot of people say they would hate that, but I'm actually quite pleased. I don't think I would have the guts to get them pierced now, because anything to do with needles I hate, so yes, I'm secretly pleased about that, yeah I don't think most people know how old I was
(4) Name one thing you want to do before you die
I can't really think, I'll be honest, I'm not a very adventurous person. I guess I'd just like to travel around the world, does that count?
(5) What's one food you cannot live without?
Brownies! They're a rare treat, but god, a life without Brownies isn't a life at all...Mmmm Brownies
(6) What quote/Phrase do you live by?
I don't really live by one, but theres one that I quite like, I first heard this in an assembly, and it's always stuck in my mind, 'If you always do, what you've always done, You'll always get, what you've always got'
(7) What's your most listened to song on iTunes?
*Checks iTunes* I found a boy, by Adele
(8) What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
I wouldn't really say I have a style to be honest. If I like something, and I feel comfortable in it, I'll get it, and wear it. I just buy things that I like really. I am a legging-a-holic though :L
(9) Favourite number?
49. It used to be 7...I guess I just squared it and it became 49. I have no idea though why that's my favourite number, I just like it...
(10) Two Hobbies?
Well, I like blogging! Oh and shopping! But then I like make-up too! There, I've made it three, Heehee!
(11) Two pet peeves?
Hypocrites, You know like when people say ' I hate that person, because they talk all the time' but they actually talk all the time (That's such a bad example!) and Slow computers! They annoy me so much! By the time it finally loads, your not really bothered any more. I just want to throw my laptop at the wall sometimes...
(12) Guilty pleasures?
Aaaah, ok. I hate to say it but......Glee. It's so cheesy, I know how cheesy it is, but I can't help it. I love it! A whole hour of people dancing and singing, as well as drama! GO FINCHEL! Ahahaha

Anyway, I hope you feel you know me a bit better! I have no doubt you haven't already done this tag, but I tag anyone who hasn't! I think I'm going to do some more tags, who doesn't love a good tag? Yes, tag time!
Haha, well, I have a review coming up soon, it's in the making and tomorrow, my 7 things for 7 days update, so hopefully, I won't have to keep having gaps, I might make a load of blog posts, and then just publish them at different times so it's a nice length between posts...Yey!
Bye everyone!
Talk to you next time!
